This unit places a significant emphasis on the importance of regular physical activity on the health of an individual. Students are introduced to the methodical and evidence-based approach to the development of various components of physical fitness in a safe and effective manner. While theoretical contents are addressed during the lecture series, students have the opportunity to put 'theory into practice' through one active lecture and one laboratory class each week. The modalities used are resistance training and running. -- Course Website
