This unit considers the nature of disability, the role of the clinical psychologist in disability, etiology and syndromes of disability, applied behaviour analysis and autism, developing behavioural profiles and program plans. In addition, the unit introduces the perspective, theory and techniques of family and systemic therapy. The unit also includes a variety of workshops training in clinical skills relevant to areas such as interpersonal psychotherapy, Gestalt therapy, psychopharmacology and dialectical behaviour therapy. -- Course Website
