This unit builds on the material covered in semester one in PSYC5568 Adult and Child Psychotherapy 1 (formerly PSYC8568 Adult and Child Psychotherapy 1) by focusing on the application of psychotherapeutic techniques in the management of a range of psychological problems. In line with the practical orientation of the unit, most seminars include case discussions, video case presentations and/or clinical simulations. Discussion focuses on treatment programs that have empirical support and covers problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, pain, anger, marital conflict, sexual dysfunction and personality disorder. -- Course Website
