This unit provides a foundation in a clinical neuropsychological perspective of functional human neuroanatomy. Attention is also paid to an understanding of some contemporary issues in neuroscience including neural plasticity, memory, ageing and regeneration. Laboratory classes allow both self-paced and supervised examination of the human brain. Examples of the increasingly complex methods for observing and studying the human brain are introduced. Integration from a clinical neuropsychological perspective is facillitated by a critical consideration of neuroanatomical changes and behavioral sequelae of a common neuropsychopathological disorder. -- Course Website
