This unit helps develop professional psychological skills in a field setting. Students are required to complete 40 days of work under approved supervision. Students have the opportunity of working in a variety of organisations and industries depending on their particular interests. Students are advised to select their placements carefully with a view to gaining experience in an organisation that may facilitate access for the purposes of data collection for the research thesis. The staff teaching on the Master of Psychology program have extensive industry contacts and help is provided in finding suitable placements if required.
