This unit involves research in a subject related to podiatric medicine in which a degree of originality is expected. Students begin planning the project in the second half of the first year and then undertakes the research during the third semester of the course. The results of the project are written as a research paper for assessment by the final examiners. <br/><br/>The general format for the paper is a manuscript including a detailed literature review and an outline of the aim(s) of the project.
