This unit covers applied clinical pharmacology relevant to the practice of podiatry; mechanisms of drug action, toxicity and interaction; drugs acting on the central nervous system, peripheral nervous systems, and cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, endocrine and musculoskeletal systems; antibacterial and antifungal agents; drugs used in dermatology; and pathophysiology of respiratory and renal diseases and drugs used in their treatment. -- Course Website
