This unit involves the philosophical analysis of psychological concepts, mental states, and problems relevant to human self-understanding. Although it is closely related to, and sometimes overlaps with, philosophy of mind, philosophical psychology also raises fundamental ethical and metaphysical questions concerning the nature of the self. Issues of contemporary interest in philosophical psychology are investigated. -- Course Website
