Lectures and tutorials include consideration of the role of pharmacist services in areas such as geriatrics, cardiology, gastroenterology, renal and respiratory medicine, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, psychiatry, neurology and mental health. Consideration is given to the area of medication review through case studies. A deeper understanding of pharmaceutical products is fostered by focusing on dispensing practice and use of commonly used oral and topical over-the-counter and prescription medicines. -- Course Website
