This unit includes (1) a presentation to the Pharmacology and Anaesthesiology unit of the proposal (an in-depth overview of the literature pertaining to his/her field of study; an outline of the principal aims of the study and an overview of the approaches used to achieve the aims); (2) laboratory-specific weekly journal club, in which journal articles are critiqued by students and staff in each research group; (3) a poster presentation; and (4) a defence on the research. -- Course Website
