This unit is is taken over two successive semesters and parts 1 to 4 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit. <br/><br/>Students complete a year-long project of original research within pharmacology or a cognate biomedical area. Depending on the availability of suitable supervisors and research funding, projects available within the unit vary from year to year but typically range from projects focused on the basic and molecular aspects of drug action through to projects involving clinical trials and drug testing in human subjects. -- Course Website

Prerequisites: attainment of a weighted average mark of 65 per cent in Level 3 units in the Pharmacology major or relevant Biomedical Science major, or equivalent level of achievement of pharmacology knowledge from another university or in a related biomedical disciplin
