This unit provides students with a sound knowledge and understanding of the immunology of transplantation including the role of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), mechanisms of allograft rejection, graft versus host disease (GVHD) along with the laboratory procedures used in tissue typing for allograft transplantation and monitoring transplant outcome. -- Course Website
