This unit consists of six modules:<br/><br/>Module 1—advanced sleep disorders:<br/>(a) summarise current understanding of the pathogenesis, clinical presentation and treatment of complex, non-respiratory sleep disorders including those secondary to other medical conditions;<br/>(b) explain the interaction between various medical conditions and sleep-disordered breathing (e.g. COPD, CHF);<br/>(c) explore the field of chronobiology and its role in sleep medicine;<br/>(d) differentiate the circadian rhythm sleep disorders according to their pathogenesis and clinical and diagnostic features; and<br/>(e) examine the variety of neurological conditions and their specific impacts on... -- Course Website
