Students acquire (1) a sound knowledge of different current and future energy technologies and their economical, social and environmental implications; (2) a good understanding of the principles underpinning energy production, conversion, distribution and end-use from different primary energy sources, including fossils and renewable resources (biomass, solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and nuclear); and (3) the ability to design and evaluate energy conversion processes.<br/><br/>Students may be required to attend additional workshops, seminars or lectures from visiting academics or industry specialists. -- Course Website
