Students search the scientific literature relevant to their research project and submit a written review including a correctly formatted reference list. The significance of the planned research project in the context of past work in the field is included in the review. The review gives a clear overview of current knowledge in the student's chosen research area as well as summarises what is not known or, in other words, what the student would like to know at the end of the research project. The review thus concludes with a clear set of research questions or hypotheses and aims that explain the basic purpose of the student's research project. -- Course Website
