This unit equips students with core skills in the principles and practices of study at postgraduate level, appropriate to the field of music practitioner studies. Drawing on relevant topics, each student develops a portfolio of short tasks and exercises; some work includes simple one-word responses whereas other exercises require more lengthy explanation, with the completed portfolio totalling no more than 2500 words.
