This unit includes the psychological and pedagogical aspects of instrumental and vocal teaching and performance; rehearsal techniques; conducting school ensembles; philosophy and psychology of instrumental teaching and learning; and materials, repertoire and methods. At the core of the unit is the teaching apprenticeship requiring a minimum of 20 hours of supervised teaching.
