This coursework unit provides students with the opportunity to critically engage with contemporary debates within the broad area of music studies. Students discuss, interrogate and evaluate key questions from a broad spectrum of sub-disciplines, including musicology, ethnomusicology, music psychology, music education, composition and performance. In doing so, students are able to articulate the relevance and applicability of existing research literature to their own specialist area of music study. -- Course Website
