This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 to 4 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>In this unit students undertake the honours dissertation, which comprises supervised research conducted by the individual student. The student's understanding of the topic of the dissertation is developed through an individually guided program of library research, reading and attendance at occasional research seminars within the School. Students research the relevant literature, design the research project, write the research proposal, give an oral presentation of the research proposal, and submit an application for ethical approval of the dissertation.
