This unit invites students to undertake an interdisciplinary and comparative study of the relationship between law and religion and its implication for Australian law, religious tolerance and freedom. Issues are considered from the viewpoints of a range of religions, belief systems and academic disciplines. Classes cover a broad spectrum of topical issues. Students pursue research of individually chosen topics or undertake equivalent research with suitable community or legal organisations. -- Course Website
