This unit considers the resolution of international disputes by commercial arbitration. Among the topics discussed are advantages and disadvantages of arbitration; availability of arbitration; drafting of arbitration clauses; arbitration proceedings (including problems respecting the law governing procedural and substantive questions); judicial review of arbitral awards; and enforceability of awards.
