This unit examines real property transactions including the nature of the Torrens system (the statutory scheme of title to land by registration), the notion of indefeasibility of title, the exceptions to indefeasibility of title and the nature and role of caveats in the Torrens system, mortgages, leases and easements. -- Course Website
