The Urban Studio focuses on places where the city's cultural and economic dynamism is at its most intense. By design-based projects the studio investigates the contemporary spatiality of cities, tracking them in time as well as along an axis from the local to the global. The studio encourages a theoretical and experimental approach to urbanity, particularly in hindsight of the twentieth century. Via sophisticated multimedia representations, students design built and open spaces in concert. -- Course Website
