The Suburban studio concerns the built environment, places where most Australians live. It offers design projects which challenge the structural and aesthetic orthodoxy of contemporary suburbia. The studio fosters a critical attitude and cultivates innovative design proposals and design experimentation. Carefully choreographed relationships between built and open space, between public and private land, and between large and small scales are explored. -- Course Website
