This unit instructs students in the theory of teaching foreign languages in general, and gives them the opportunity to put this theory into practice for Italian as a foreign language, by teaching two conversation classes at Beginners' or Intermediate level for one semester. The unit further develops cultural and linguistic skills acquired at undergraduate level while providing students with the skills required to teach Italian as a foreign language.
