This unit provides a foundation to managing and making good decisions. In business, as with all aspects of life, there are uncertainties and elements of risk associated with taking action. Students develop decision strategies to manage risk that are based on sound methodology. The theory is presented in a 'hands-on' style, analysing decisions and management strategies with commercial packages. Applications include investment analysis, location decisions, public health policies, yield management and resource management. -- Course Website
