This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit. <br/><br/>Students undertake a five-week clerkship in a Perth teaching emergency department. Formal lectures are presented during a lecture week at the beginning of semester and online. Teaching emphasises the themes of clinical skills, critical illness, undifferentiated presentations, trauma, toxicology and environmental medicine, disaster medicine and the practice of emergency medicine.
