This unit comprises a minimum six-week clinical elective placement in a medical-related workplace. Students are required to complete a local elective placement application form six months prior to their elective term. The urban elective placements can be organised by either the elective coordinator or by the students themselves. An elective organised by the student still requires approval by the Faculty prior to the commencement of the placement. If students are travelling outside of Western Australia a travel form must be submitted for Faculty approval. A supervisor's report form should be completed by the supervisor and returned with the written report. -- Course Website
