This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>The unit comprises integrated assessment of clinical competence assessed during each clinical attachment and is based on learning during those attachments. At the end of Level 6 clerkship attachments students are also required to undertake a written examination focusing on the specified learning outcomes in the following content areas: medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, rural general practice and psychiatry. Each discipline is represented in the written assessment in an amount equivalent to the time allocated within the curriculum. -- Course Website
