This unit enables students to identify current educational issues and analyse trends in health professional education. Students critically evaluate innovations in their own disciplines, examine best practice from other health professional groups and examine its transferability to their own teaching context. The unit equips students to select an area of contemporary health professional education, explore the impact of the innovation and any barriers for change, discuss regulatory frameworks and develop skills required to facilitate contemporary education relevant to their own practice. -- Course Website
