This unit provides an overview of qualitative and quantitative, experimental and mixed methods of research appropriate in educational research. This ensures the basic principles relating to research design and analysis in health professional education are covered, allowing students to formulate focused, meaningful and feasible research questions and testable hypotheses. In addition, students have the opportunity to read, discuss and critique relevant educational research in terms of theory and research design. -- Course Website
