This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>This option unit consists of two 2-week blocks designed to allow students to study, in greater depth than is possible in the core curriculum, areas of medicine in which they have an interest. Each two-week attachment is offered to a limited number of students, with most attachments being for one or two students at a time. Students select their preferred options from a long list of choices and the Faculty allocates students to options based on their expressed preferences and demand.
