This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>The unit covers in an integrated fashion a broad curriculum related to clinical practice, using a problem-based learning format. Clinical cases are used to explore topics related to the major themes of the curriculum (Scientific Basis of Medicine; Doctor and Patient; Doctor, Health and Society; and Personal and Professional Development) and involves formal input from multiple clinical disciplines, the paraclinical subject areas of pathology, pharmacology and microbiology, the School of Population Health and the pre-clinical subject areas. -- Course Website
