This unit introduces students to some aspects of engineering practice and project management that they need to successfully transition from formal education to professional practice, and work with people in their own and other disciplines.<br/><br/>Engineering performance relies on the effective control of safety, health and environmental risks, particularly those arising from uncertainties in human behaviour. Prerequisites: enrolment in the Master of Professional Engineering; for pre-2012 courses: (GENG1003 Introduction to Professional Engineering or ENSC1001 Engineering Challenges in a Global World) and completion of 96 points towards an Engineering degree
