This unit is a specialist unit designed for students who have completed FREN2204 French Intermediate II; FREN2404 French Studies 4, FREN2206 French Advanced II; FREN2406 French Studies 6 or FREN2208 French Advanced IV or FREN2408 French Studies 8. This specialist unit enables students to consolidate their language competencies through the study of major aspects of modern and contemporary French society through French/francophone texts in the broadest sense (print, electronic and audio-visual).
