Each year students are provided with a different environmental project and work with the unit coordinator and industry partners to complete a design, set by the client. Examples of projects undertaken in the past are an integrated water management plan for a proposed urban development, a remediation design for a contaminated site, alternative drinking water supplies for Perth, and a sustainable management plan for Rottnest Island. Students work from a tender and manage human and physical resources required for completion of the project.
