Topics in this unit include examination of project management theories and how to manage projects sustainably; project parameters of scope, cost, time and performance; planning and leading the project; monitoring and controlling the project; organisational structure and job design for project management; reporting for projects; approach used in executing projects with a focus on local and international scenarios, environmental and societal impact of projects, principles of sustainability, cultural influences and professionalism ethics, values, and codes of practice. Actual project examples and case studies are used in tutorials and lectures to provide a solid practical base to the unit. -- Course Website
