This unit uses the Curriculum Framework, the Society and Environment Syllabus, the Australian History Curriculum and a range of school-related resources to develop the knowledge and competencies needed to create learning programs, design lesson plans, develop a range of learning strategies based on a variety of resources, and develop appropriate assessment techniques. Literacy, values education, citizenship education, global education and other contemporary issues are included. Classroom competencies to enhance effective lesson presentation are also considered. -- Course Website
