This unit gives an overview of (1) Languages Other Than English (LOTE) in the lower secondary school curriculum; (2) the principles of, and developments in, language teaching and learning; (3) the development of micro and macro skills in listening and speaking; and (4) the use of teaching aids, text evaluation, student assessment, lesson planning and teaching strategies. -- Course Website
