This unit focuses on advanced microeconomics with more formal and rigorous treatment. This unit focuses on the application of advanced microeconomics across a range of economics. The focus is on understanding core economic theory derived from the underlying utility maximising behaviour of individuals and profit maximisation behaviour of firms and the translation of the resulting theory into propositions useful in understanding a range of market and policy situations.
