Students are encouraged to make the change from teacher to facilitator of learning and to create lifelong dental education attitudes. They gain expertise in using computer-aided information resources applicable to dental education such as ERIC and the internet. The methodology of determining community and professional needs and professional resources for continuing dental education are described.
