This unit prepares students for rural dentistry. It provides students with a basic understanding of anatomy of the head and neck, pharmacology, how to perform a dental examination, exodontia, first aid, infection control, local anaesthesia, pain diagnosis, preventive dentistry and what to do in a medical emergency. -- Course Website
