This unit provides an overview of the main areas of specialisation in archaeology from an Australian perspective. Students explore the different aspects of analysis in the key areas of Indigenous, maritime, historical and rock art archaeology. They also consider the research process and expertise in each area; and develop some knowledge of the theories and methodologies that exist in each area of expertise. -- Course Website
