This unit focuses on research training skills for students conducting honours level study in Archaeology. Students undertake a program of supervised research on a given topic over two semesters and submit a thesis. The object of this unit is to develop research skills relevant to archaeology by using the thesis topic. Students meet weekly to discuss the research process by focusing on research design as well as qualitative and quantitative research. -- Course Website
Prerequisites: Students must have completed a major in Archaeology. The prerequisite entry into the Archaeology honours program is at least 65 per cent in the Level 3 units of the Archaeology major.
