This unit provides an introduction to the practice of archaeology today. Central themes in current archaeology are introduced to provide a basic overview of what it means to think like an archaeologist. Students learn how evidence is used in archaeological investigations, and the key issues and themes that inform archaeology today. These topics are illustrated in relation to key finds and sites and are addressed and critically discussed in case studies. -- Course Website
