An examination of some of the core concepts in political philosophy such as equality, community, liberty, ownership, state neutrality & autonomy. Different political philosophies & critical perspectives employing various interpretations of these concepts are also studied such as egalitarian, libertarian, feminist, & communitarian theories. Contemporary political issues are used to both illustrate the nature of the different theories & also as an aid in critically assessing them.<br/>This course may not run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments. -- Course Website
