The objective of the course is to provide Honours and PhD students with knowledge of advanced organisational theory and research. The study of organisation is both an empirical and applied discipline that is informed by scholarly research in a number of related disciplines (e.g., psychology, anthropology, sociology, political science). This course provides a brief historical review of organisational theory and research (including a review of seminal works in various fields), a review of influential theories in the development of organisational studies, and an overview of contemporary theories and research. -- Course Website
