The fourth year core paediatric rotation is a clinical placement immersion during which students are integrated within the hospital and participate in clinical work under supervision. The rotation begins with a half-day video conferencing orientation program to introduce aspects of paediatrics not encountered in adult rotations. Students attend didactic sessions (e.g. videoconferenced lectures) and access the paediatric online interactive education (POLIE) modules, which are accompanied by weekly tutorials (POLIE face-to-face tutorials) to consolidate learning. Students engage in clinical work in various settings, including the emergency department, post-take ward rounds, daily junior... -- Course Website
