This course aims to improve students' competencies in the four key areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Particular emphasis is placed on the relationship between text and context, with students examining the importance of not just linguistic but historical and cultural understanding in the analysis of authentic cinematic, televisual and written texts in French. -- Course Website
