Time-domain and continuous wave methods of electromagnetic prospecting. Solutions of Laplace and Helmholtz equations for layered earth and discrete targets. Instrumentation for electrical and electromagnetic techniques including land and airborne variations. Practical aspects of electrical surveying including array design and optimisation.
